Moon Jump was founded in 1984 by Jose Ines (Joe) Nuñez in the West Texas city of El Paso. The company started out with one moon jump and slowly grew to a small warehouse of moon jumps. Attatched to it was another warehouse which was used to manufacture the balloons. In 1998 the company was divided into two separate corporations. Moon Jump, Inc. is dedicated solely to the rental of moon jumps, and Moon Jump Sales, Inc. is dedicated to the manufacture and sale of jumping balloons.

Moon Jump Sales, Inc. has sold balloons nationwide and has helped enterprising people start successful moon jump rental businesses. Moon Jump Sales, Inc. has different business start-up options available to suit the ambitions of any person.
